The Bent Festival hits LA this weekend (12-14), featuring performances, installations, and workshops.  For those not in the know, circuit bending is the DIY art of turning simple electronic toys like keyboards or pretty much anything that makes sound into crazy instruments  and sound generators by way of short-circuiting them.  It’s really, really great and if you’re interested in nabbing a pair of tickets to Friday or Saturday then be sure to email uclaradiocontest@gmail.com.  Also, check out the site at www.bentfestival.org
