Hey Unsigned Musicians,

“I’m in a Band..” – your favorite radio show on UCLA Radio – is compiling a “Best Unsigned Music of 2008″ compilation disc to be given out all around UCLA, played in coffee shops, study halls, and anywhere else we can get it. Last year’s compilation was played on other college radio stations and Indie 103.1.

The CD isn’t for any kind of profit, but just to get the word out about the show, and some of the great unsigned artists out there.

Want your song on the CD? Get it to us by Friday, December 5th! Email ONE song to inaband@gmail.com with “For Compilation Consideration” in the subject.

We are open to all genres of music.

OR send your CD to the station with your best track noted. Again, we need it by December 5th…so mail it already!

By submitting, you are giving us permission to put the track on the CD and give it away at our discretion. Please make sure there is no copyrighted material within the track.

Of course if you make it on the compilation, we’ll send you a copy so you can burn it and give it to everyone you know.

If you’ve already sent us your song for airplay and want it considered for compilation consideration, send us another email that says “Hey DJ, please consider that song you play on your show every week for the Best Unsigned Artists of 2008 Compilation!”

Be sure to listen to the show this Sunday. Call or AIM and we can chat about why or why not your track is going to make it this year!
