While rappers these days are pushing tired beef (seriously, who cares about 50 Cent vs. Rick Ross), Etta James, a true O.G., not only decided to go after arguably the biggest name performer out right now, but also the president! In one fell swoop, we have a new beef for the ages.

Etta, who previously cheesed in pictures with and called Beyoncé great while B was prepping to play Etta in the film Cadillac Records, has had just about enough of this shit. Beyoncé, as you may or may not remember, performed Etta’s classic “At Last” at one of the inauguration balls, and Etta had… well, some choice things to say about it at her concert in Seattle last Wednesday. I can’t do it justice, just listen here:

Imagine if Etta James was your grandmother. You wouldn’t have to join a gang or anything if people were bothering you, you’d just call Big Mama to “whoop someone’s ass”. If she wants to fight people over a song that everyone in the world has sung at least once, imagine what she’d do if you messed with her grandkids?
