Two weeks ago, progressive rock band, “Once a Tiger”, came in and played live on UCLARadio’s “The Paymon Jalali Show”. The band, consisting of 5 members, blasted the radio station with amazing drums, guitar, and singing right inside our lobby! We even had to get permission to have them play. Although not shown in the YouTube video, Paymon would later interview them about the life of a rock band, including sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll. Their answer was summed up quite simply as, “Don’t do drugs, enjoy sex, and love rock”. The two songs they played are called “Fading Away: Part 2″ and “Kamikaze”.
“Once a Tiger” was formed in Agoura Hills, CA. The lead singer is Clinton Bragger, and the guitarists and co-singers are Devin Murdoch, Max Albert, and Austin Bragger. Lastly, their amazing drummer is Chris Marlette. They hope to release an album this summer. You can listen to more of their songs on the MySpace or Facebook links below.
