The L.A. Music Awards Voting Party is this Thursday, October 12, at the Whiskey-A-Go-Go. Entry is only $10 and you get to vote on the submissions. One to look for is Alec Bridges in the Independent AAA Album of the Year for Look Inside. Hopefully, everyone reading this can make it to the show. Hi. We’re a San Francisco singer/songwriter duo. Annie Staninec is a well known bluegrass/gypsy fiddler (she recently toured with David Grisman) and I write all our songs. We’ve just released a new cd, The Unkindness of Ravens. It was recorded and mixed by Lemon DeGeorge (Jolie Holland, Genghis Blues) and mastered by Paul Carlsen (Nirvana’s Nevermind). We sent a cd a few days ago.

Yael and her band are amazing and her voice is angelic. Just letting you know that I sent out a copy of my first album, “Snuff Film Fest”, to your station about a month ago.
I am a recording artist out of New Orleans. The music has been compared to Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, and early Staind. The intended first single is “Necromance Novel”.
