Live Updates (2/27/25): UC Workers Strike
AFSCME 3299 and UPTE-CWA 9119, two unions that represent over 50,000 workers at the UC, are going on an Unfair Labor Practice strike this week over recently implemented restrictions on workers’ speech. Workers are picketing across all ten UC campuses and five medical centers.
