Velvettica @ The Viper Room [4/25/2025]

Inside Sunset Boulevard’s iconic Viper Room, Velvettica delivered an authentic, sonically unique performance to the Los Angeles music scene last Friday night. Alice Phoebe Lou @ Lodge Room [04/07/2025]

Skegss @ The Fonda [03/09/2025]

Photos by Oli McCormack Despite performing thousands of miles from their hometown of Byron Bay, Australia, Skegss’ performance drew a crowd with an energy similar to that of coastal New South Wales. The duo’s music blends mellow instrumentals with more intense vocals and guitar solos. Their sound combines rhythmic rock with more intense, punk-adjacent music.…

flipturn at The Novo [3/7/2025]

Watching Flipturn’s performance at the Novo last Friday, it would be challenging to imagine the band’s start as three high school students. Dillon Basse, Tristan Duncan, and Madeline Jarman formed the band their senior year of high school in Fernandina Beach, a small town in northern Florida.
